Analog electronics is a pretty large subject and 20-25 questions can be expected in objective paper. Questions are straight forward and mostly theoretical in nature.
Main topics to be covered-
1.rectifiers- pros and cons of different types. Which filter is used when.
2. Clippers and clampers- output waveforms
3. Voltage regulators- zener method(numericals are asked), ic regulators (ex-7805).
4. Bjt- simple biasing circuits.
5. Amplifiers- voltage,current types which has got higher input resistance and output resistance. Calcukation of gain is not aksed much is objective.
6.mosfet- simple biasing problems.
7.feedback amplifiers- refer to sedra or made easy notes.(type and effect of different feedbacks)
8. Power amplifiers- different classes their effeciency and harmonics.
9.op amp- refer to sedra
10. 555 timer and multivibrator - refer to sedra ( Schmidt trigger is most imp)
